Strategy

Fortress has high DPS, high HP, and decent range, making it perform well against any ground unit smaller than itself. By investing in some of its technologies, the Fortress can even brawl against other ground-based giants. With its signature Barrier technology, it provides a unique form of protection for fragile light units like Hounds, Mustangs, or Fangs, that otherwise struggle to survive past the early game or against battlefield abilities. Alternatively, Launcher Overload, Doubleshot, Rocket Punch, or Elite Marksman all help turn Fortress into a high-DPS threat that can threaten any ground unit in the game. Meanwhile, Fortress can create its own protective chaff with Fang Production while Range Enhancement keeps it safe from threats such as Melting Point. Although Fortress’s weapon only hits ground units, Anti-Air barrage poses a significant threat to armies favoring Wasps or Phoenixes throughout the game.
