Scorpion is a tanky 300-cost DPS unit with a very low firing rate that hits a huge area, capable of taking out an entire pack of medium units in one shot.

Technologies
Scorpion's attack will create an Acid area with a radius of 15m at the hit point. The Acid area lasts for 15s, units within the Acid liquid lose 3% HP per second and will take 250% damage when attacked.
Scorpion enters siege mode, increasing range by 100m, but decreases ATK by 40% and increases attack interval by 1.5s, and it cannot attack enemies within 75m around it.

Increases HP by 30% and automatically restores 4.5% of Max HP per second upon taking damage
Increases HP by 50%, and blocks 60 damage when attacked. The damage blocking effect increases with the Rank. And for each Rank, blocks an additional 60 damage.
Strategy
Usually, Scorpion is purchased in response to medium units like Sledgehammers, Steel Balls, or Fire Badgers, to efficiently kill them despite a level or item disadvantage. Later, with levels and technologies, Scorpion quickly becomes capable of deleting any unit on the ground. Range Enhancement and Doubleshot are the Scorpion’s key DPS technologies, working together to swiftly delete even giants. Alternatively, Acid Attack spreads acid on the ground to help kill the largest of giants, and Siege Mode can allow the Scorpion to apply this acid from all the way across the battlefield. Finally, Scorpion has inexpensive Armor Enhancement and Field Maintenance technologies that can help the Scorpion shrug off the enemy team’s damage from the frontline.
