Stormcaller is a fragile, super-long-ranged 200-cost artillery unit that excels against any slow-moving enemy from afar, but cannot defend itself in close range.

Technologies
Decreases range by 20, the unit's attacks will ignite an area of 5.5m for 15s, dealing 290 damage per second. Allied forces are vulnerable to this damage.
Increases range by 40
The attack interval of the Stormcaller is reduced by 50%, the range is reduced by 40m, and the movement speed is increased by 5
Increases splash damage range by 5m but decreases ATK by 50%
Causes electromagnetic interference on hit, temporarily disabling the target unit's Tech and decreasing its movement speed by 40%
Increases ATK by 100% but increases attack interval by 15%
Strategy
No unit in the game has as much range as Stormcaller, so in a pure long-ranged battle, it becomes a staple member of almost any composition, often purchased on round 2 or 3. It provides a little bit of chaff clear against late-arriving fangs or mustangs while also dealing strong DPS to large, slow units like ground-based giants, Tarantulas, or Scorpions. Later on, the Stormcaller can specialize against chaff units like fangs with High-Explosive Ammo or Incendiary Bomb, and against giant units with High Explosive Anti-Tank Shells. Electromagnetic Explosion is also valuable against giant units in the late game, often removing their ability to respond to the Stormcaller. If you want to overwhelm your opponent with artillery, Range Enhancement + Launcher Overload is a great combo.
