Flanks
Flanks are a deployable area to the sides of the battlefield, where units may be positioned from round 2 onwards. They offer a lot of strategic opportunities for aggressive (counter)play, in an attempt to destroy enemy towers.

Units will take 10s to spawn on a flank the first round they are deployed (5s with the ‘Quick Teleport’ card)

After spawning in, units can be moved freely on a flank with Jump Drive, Redeploy or Deployment Module without needing to respawn

Flanks are difficult to defend for the attacker, so they should not be overinvested in

Flanks can be used to pull enemy units away and expose the tower, making it vulnerable to a frontal attack

If flanks are not properly defended, an air unit such as the Phoenix can yield a tower debuff when paired with the Mobile Beacon
